1. Think of an issue/argument you're having with another.
2. Take the conversation to a level you can agree on (there always is one).
3. Bring the conversation back to where you were.
What changed?
Was it easier to agree?
Example,
1. You want to invest in a training programme for your business, and your business partner doesn't.
2. Take it to a level where your business partner will agree - Perhaps - "A profitable, efficient and harmonious business".
3. Assess your proposal against that.
